Winter has made a belated minor appearance for New Year Eve in Fitchburg, but the year is ending with exciting discoveries of new cousins. I am happy to welcome the Fossings, who share Mariken Thygesen Langvarp and Knud Thygesen Naas Våsjø with me, and my other first and second cousins, as our gr GM and gr gr GF, respectively. We will create a new Post introducing the Fossings and the Reys, and the interesting, even moving, discoveries. The 'Knud' Line has shared the distinction of being the 'smallest descendant group' with the 'Elling' Line ... being outnumbered decisively by the 'Asborg' and 'Ole' lines ... especially after the contact with the Simonson and Gregerson Descendants. I look forward to more gains and more communication with many of you during the new year. I would like to hear from anybody who is having trouble using the Virtual Reunion, and am anxious to add anybody who would like to be a 'member' or active Post author. Ideas of how to move ahead, or explore new things, are very welcome. Get the word out to the the other cousins who haven't joined us yet. Perhaps Yvonne and I will be able to fill-out the Thyge generation, and push the 'cousin' participants back a generation. I wish you all the very best for 2012.
