Dekorra, Columbia County, Wisconsin.  The value of the Knudson real estate is $500 and the personal estate is $450.

Isaac fought at the First Battle of Bull Run (just down the road from me) with the Second Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry.  That regiment spent most of the war as a member of the famous Iron Brigade of the Army of the Potomac.  I've found two reports on what happened to Isaac.  First, on 10 Oct 1862, he died of disease at a hospital in Smoketown, Maryland (WHS Series 1200 box 259-7; red book vol 8 p156). Second, he disappeared in the Battle at Wilderness, Virginia (Ulvestad, p. 302).

I'll appreciate seeing any other information, corrections or pictures on these family members, especially on daughters Karen Anne (aka Mary?) and Sarah Christina.
