Another half-year has gone by, including my 88th Birthday. The DNA Matches are pouring in, and it's getting harder and harder to keep up. I'm not sure if the messages of new posts are getting out, and I'd be happy to get some perspective from your emails ... mfhansen3@gmail.com.
Maybe I'll try to figure out how I can call attention to interesting new cousins. I think we've identified most of the 2nd and 3rds cousins who are the real audience I had in mind when I started this. Most of the new 'strong' matches are 4th-7th cousins ... but a few surprises are close. A second cousin of Alice's showed up very near the top of her list ... and was the result of a first cousin having given up her baby for adoption at birth.
I hope that you are all well and thriving, and I am hoping that 2019 takes a turn in a better direction for all our 'cousins' ... in the broadest possible sense Marc
