In 1845, Knud's eldest son, Thyge Knudsen Naas and his entire family, save the eldest son Knud, emigrated to the Pine Lake settlement in Wisconsin. After more that 150 years the families have scattered across the US & Norway. Now descendants of each of the Thygesen families have found each other.
