Over a year ago we were very happy to make contact with the descendants of Elling and Anne Marie Thygesen's son Nels Marcus. I was, and have been, aware that Nels Marcus' sister Inger Tomine had married Carl Gregerson, and created a new line of cousins ... but that contact between those two lines, and the lines from Ole and Petra, had waned and apparently vanished over the decades. Ancestry.com was the tool that finally 'connected' the Gregerson line with the rest of us. Our new 'follower'/cousin is Melanie Tyler Kranz. I have added a small tree diagram to the Elling Thygesen page to show the line back from Melanie's sister Jean, to Inger and Elling. Isn't it amazing how the 'family' has grown?
