Welcome to Fall ... a New Name

 For Descendants of Elling Thygesen and Anne Marie Nilsdatter

The Posts have gotten to be few and far between, but I'm sure that we are all learning some new things.  I have never, until now, found another tree that had a family/farm name for Elling Thygesen's wife Anne Marie.  I'm pretty sure that I've found it ... and its interesting, at least to me.  I periodically look at the Geni/My Heritage website, and a few years ago put a small tree on if with my main lines, including Thygesen/Naas.  When I looked at it recently, Anne Marie's name and parents lines had been added ... which Geni allows.   I'm convinced that the Farm/Family name of your gr gr (gr) GM was Anne Marie Nilsdatter Rinde.   Here is a simplified tree, taken from my main tree, with the Rinde Additions added:

As I entered the new persons, and got to Anne Marie's Grandmother. Karen Ellingsdatter Kurdøla, I realized that she was already in my tree ... and was the Aunt of our gr gr gr GM Mariken.  This means that Elling and Anne Marie were 2nd cousins, and had known each other in Norrway.  Indeed, all three family farms, Våsjø, Kurdøla and Rinde were within a few miles of each other in Norway, and related.  This is the map of this part of Sannidal, and shows all three farms:

I'm not sure if this will excite anybody else, but I was very happy to close the circle.
